Embark upon identity, surrendering, resiliency, and having courage it takes to face the parts of yourself you've been avoiding.
Wilda Jane Martin is a proud adoptee, warrior angel mom, and faith-based writer whose life story is rooted in love, redemption, and unwavering trust in God. As a New York State certified foster and adoptive parent, Wilda draws from her own powerful journey to inspire others to embrace faith, healing, and the beauty of second chances.
Her writing uplifts hearts and reminds readers that with God, even the hardest stories can become testimonies of grace.
Her journey has been shaped by both profound joy and deep loss experiences that have forged a resilient faith and given her a powerful testimony of hope.
Writing has become a sacred space for Wilda, a way to minister, encourage, and remind others that God’s hand is present in every season of life. As a first-time author, she brings authenticity, vulnerability, and spiritual depth to her work, prayerfully sharing messages meant to uplift and inspire.
Though new to publishing, she is far from a novice in sharing her story. Wilda has spoken at youth facilities, including Children's Village, (Dobbs Ferry, NY) where she has encouraged young people in the foster care community by boldly embracing her identity as a proud adoptee. Her message is rooted in hope, resilience, and the unwavering truth that one’s beginnings do not define one’s destiny.
Beyond writing, Wilda has a heart for ministry. She loves to sing and uses her voice not only in song but in service, sharing her faith wherever God opens a door. She enjoys traveling extensively, building meaningful connections, and spending quality time with her cherished friends and family.
Professionally, Wilda serves in a leadership role overseeing wellness care staff, ensuring that the elderly population is compassionately cared for and able to experience dignity, comfort, and quality of life in their later years. Her commitment to service extends beyond words; it is lived out daily through both her faith and her vocation.
Wilda’s greatest desire is that her words and her life reflect God’s grace and that through her story, others find healing, purpose, and hope.
